Jeanne Barousse Method
The Design process utilized typically encompasses five steps, as listed below. As client needs and project status will differ from case to case, the design process is adjusted to meet the situation and client objectives.
The Method
01.
Phase 1
Includes consultation on floor plans, lighting pans, electrical plans, interior elevations, coordination of kitchen and bath designs and detailed furniture layouts.
02.
Phase 2
Selection of all interior finishes for walls, ceilings and floors, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures and exterior paint colors, coordination with the architect and/or contractor during the construction phase as needed.
03.
Phase 3
Additional work can include establishing an inventory of all furnishings, selection of new furniture, upholstery, drapery, rugs, lamps, accessories, and artwork. Detailed proposal for furnishings, etc. provided to client for approval,
04.
Phase 4
Encopasses the ordering of all items, tracking, coordination of workrooms and receipt of goods.
05.
Phase 5
Finally, Jeanne Barousse Designs will oversee the installation of all furnishings, drapery, rugs, artwork and accessories.
