Jeanne Barousse is a naive New Orleanian with three decades of residential and commercial design experience. Her design work is reflective of her sharp eye for color and space. Jeanne has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interior Design from Louisiana State University and she worked for local design and architectural firms before opening Jeanne Barousse Designs in 1988. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Her projects, although primarily residential, include hotels, restaraunts, and corporate offices.
Jeanna helps guide clients through the design process and will interface with architects and contractors to develop plans that express both comfort and style. Comprehensive interior design services offered include plans for furniture and electrical placement; oversight of kitchen and bath design; selection of paint colors, fixtures, finishes, flooring, fabrics and furnishings; and custom designed furniture, upholstery and window treatments.
